Award-winning host. Changemaker, Authentic voice in Canadian media

Best known as the award-winning host of Cityline for 16 years, Tracy Moore is now one of Canada’s most influential voices in television. She began her career as a news reporter at Toronto’s leading networks before transitioning into lifestyle programming. She’s used her platform to help raise awareness of oppressive systems while raising two kids. She co-produced and co-hosted Citytv’s award-winning special, Ending Racism: What Will it Take?

Over the years, she’s received several accolades. In 2023, she received the Canadian Academy of Cinema and Television Changemaker Award, dedicating it to those advancing equity and inclusion. She has also been nominated for “Best Host” by both the Canadian Screen Awards and the Gemini Awards. In February 2025, she received the “Media Icon Award” at RBC’s Black Diamond Ball. In June she’ll receive the Order of Ontario, capping a career defined by impact and community leadership, including her volunteer work with West Toronto charity Trust 15 and other community groups.
